TradeChefPro ("we", "us") operates the website at tradechefpro.com and native mobile apps that load our web experience. This policy explains what we collect, why we collect it, and your choices.

Information we collect

  • Account data — email address, name (if provided), and authentication identifiers when you sign up or sign in (including Google OAuth when you choose that option).
  • Usage data — pages visited, features used, trade journal entries you save, watchlists, and preferences you set in the product.
  • Payment data — subscription status and billing metadata processed by Stripe. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
  • Broker connections — if you connect a broker, we store credentials or tokens you provide so we can place or track orders on your behalf, per your settings.
  • Device and technical data — browser or app user agent, IP address, cookies, and session identifiers needed for security and login.

How we use information

  • Provide and improve the TradeChefPro service (spreads, signals, portfolio tools, alerts).
  • Authenticate you and keep your session secure across web and mobile.
  • Process subscriptions, send transactional email, and respond to support requests.
  • Sync Discord Pro access when you connect your account.
  • Monitor reliability, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Mobile apps

Our iOS and Android apps are Capacitor shells that load the same TradeChefPro website you use in a browser. Sign-in, cookies, and account data behave the same way. Google Sign-In on mobile opens your device's system browser (Safari or Chrome) and returns you to the app via a secure one-time handoff — we do not embed Google login inside an in-app WebView.

Cookies and similar technologies

We use session cookies and CSRF tokens so you can stay logged in and use forms safely. The mobile app may set a tcp_capacitor cookie so our servers can recognize app traffic for authentication handoff. You can clear cookies in your browser settings; doing so will sign you out.

Third-party services

We rely on trusted providers to run the product, including:

  • Stripe — payments and subscriptions
  • Google — optional OAuth sign-in
  • Discord — optional Pro role sync
  • Email (SMTP) — account and notification email
  • Hosting and infrastructure — servers that run our application and databases

These providers process data under their own privacy policies and our agreements with them.

Data retention

We keep account and product data while your account is active and as needed for billing, security, and legal compliance. You may request account deletion by contacting us; some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate business purposes (e.g. payment records).

Your choices

  • Update account details in Account settings (when signed in).
  • Disconnect Discord or broker integrations from your account settings.
  • Cancel Pro subscription via the Stripe customer portal linked from your account.
  • Contact us to access, correct, or delete personal data where applicable.

Security

We use HTTPS, secure session handling, and industry-standard practices to protect your data. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and protect your devices.

Children

TradeChefPro is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
